Swim with whale sharks and Dive into their Magical World
Snorkel with 10-meter whale sharks in Cancun, where warm waters and abundant plankton create an ideal habitat for these gentle giants, the world’s largest fish, from June to September. Witness the world’s largest gathering of whale sharks during their awe-inspiring migration of thousands of miles at a leisurely pace of around 3 mph (5 kph).

What You Should Know Before Booking
- Participants must be at least 8 years old for our Whale Shark Snorkeling Experience
- There is a maximum weight limit of 113 kg (250 lbs) for this experience.
- Whale shark snorkeling is not recommended for expecting mothers, guests with limited mobility, or individuals with respiratory problems, injuries, back or neck issues, or heart conditions.
- Guests who wish to participate must be relatively fit and able to swim.
- Round-trip transportation is provided from select hotels exclusively for guests who book their tours at least 24 hours in advance.
- A $30 USD dock tax must be paid at the pier.
- Please consider additional traveling time from your hotel to the pier of Whale Shark Experience tour, depending on your hotel’s location.
