About CENOTE SCUBA DIVING

Explore the mystical underworld of Mexico’s cenotes with a
thrilling scuba diving adventure. The exceptionally clear waters
reveal ancient caves adorned with breathtaking stalactites and
stalagmites, forming an enchanting subterranean landscape.
However, to undertake this incredible experience safely,
certification is not merely recommended; it is absolutely essential.

  • Comfortable shoes, light clothing and sunglasses are essential.
  • Use biodegradable sunscreen as regular sunscreens contaminate the cenotes, bring a towel.

What you should know before booking

  • Minimum age: 8 years old. The age range to apply the child price is 8-11.
  • Please note that a dock tax fee of $5 USD will apply and will be collected directly on site.
  • For your safety, access to the reef is subject to age (8 to 60) and fitness guidelines established by the Harbormaster.
  • Not recommended for people with reduced mobility
  • Guests should be relatively fit and able to swim.
  • For safety reasons, snorkeling activities are not recommended for people with respiratory problems, back or neck injuries, heart problems, or conditions that may cause loss of consciousness.
  • Roundtrip transportation is included from selected hotels exclusively for our guests who book their tours at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Consider 2 to 5 hours of transportation for this tour. The exact transportation time depends on your hotel location and pick-up route.
